10 Best Electric Duster Available In The Market Benefits
What Is An Electric Duster And How Does It Work
An electric duster is a device that blows compressed air from a nozzle to clean hard-to-reach places. The dusters are frequently used as alternatives to chemical cleaners for blowing out small orifices, such as keyboard keys or the holes in computer towers. This device usually comes with a selection of attachments, including extensions and brushes. It may be powered by alternating current (AC) or direct current (DC).
An electric duster works by drawing regular household current into its motor. This causes the wheel inside the machine to spin quickly, producing high-pressure blasts of air from its nozzle. Because any type of regular household electricity can power this tool, it does not have to be plugged directly into an outlet. In fact, some electric dusters come with built-in batteries that can be recharged instead. When the trigger is activated, this device blows out air until the pressure inside the tool becomes too low to continue blowing. At this point, the user must release the trigger and wait for it to recharge before continuing cleaning.
Types Of Electric Dusters And Their Uses
There are many types of dusters available in the market. Each has its own unique features, uses, and benefits. Many companies manufacture dusters but it is important to check the quality of products before buying them.
Not all electric dusters are the same. They vary based on their mechanism, including disposable or reusable duster refills. You can use them for cleaning different objects, parts, machines, etc.
Electrical Dusters are meant for indoor use only. The device consists mainly of a motorized fan that generates a high-velocity air stream that blows away the collected particles from your targeted surface. You can clean delicate surfaces without causing any damage or scratches. Most non-electric dusters have harmful chemicals in the form of liquids thus they should be used with precaution.
Electrical Dusters do not contain any kind of harmful chemicals and hence you can use them without having second thoughts, provided you follow the instructions on its usage.

Electric Duster VS Compressed Air Can
Does this sound like something you’ve wondered about before? Well, we did and came up with an answer. We got a little scientific and went through the process of testing the results.
Compressed air is pressurized to shoot out as a stream – An electric duster emits its contents as a fog to go into every nook and cranny. So it made sense that there were 2 different ways that these two items could be used:
1. Shot to clean out spots immediately accessible (e.g. keyboard keys): Compressed air does well here because it can shoot out as a tight beam and has more power than an electric duster which has an even spread of airflow and lower pressure than compressed air can offer.
2. Shot into dark corners and hard-to-reach places: Electric duster would do better as it can emit a fog which is more likely to linger in those spots, wetting the area.
We came up with the simple idea of testing these two appliances on a keyboard. We used a 1980s IBM Model M keyboard because it has bigger gaps between its keys compared to recent keyboards. So for this experiment, we’ll be using 2 different cleaning methods:
3. Compressed air into each gap from a distance of 5 cm
4. Electric Duster from 3cm away from each gap.
Since our compressed air can is 220ml, we aimed all the contents onto the lower left key where dirt tends to accumulate even when you try your best to be clean. We shot 5 times on the left side and 5 times on the right side of the keyboard.
After that, we used our electric duster to go into all those nooks & crannies by pressing its button from 3cm away from each gap. We made sure to hit every spot with a good dose of fog before moving onto the next area.
Both “T-Shaped” objects were inserted into gaps between keys as shown below:
The compressed air can is thinner compared to electric duster but at least they are long enough (~5 cm) to reach in there!
As mentioned earlier, one of the most common areas where dirt tends to accumulate is along the edge of each row of keys.
If you look closely, you can see that electric duster emits a fog as it travels through the gaps and it also happens to be more powerful than our compressed air can:
The first row of letters is cleaned using the compressed air and on the right side (second row), we shot 5 times on one side and 5 times for the other – We used Electric Duster only once each on both sides of the second row.
4 Advantages Of Electric Dusters
An electric duster is a device that allows the user to blow air through it, passing over electronic components and making them clean.
An electric duster is the perfect household tool for dusting off sensitive equipment. It allows you to clean everything from your computer keyboard to your TV screen with ease and without the worry of leaving behind unsightly fingerprints or streaks that can be left by using paper towels or rags.
- Using an electric duster also means you will no longer have to lift heavy objects in order to get down close enough to clean underneath them. All you need is a stable surface for the base of the duster, which is usually at least 6 inches tall, and allow it to do all of the work for you!
- Electric dusters are also much more environmentally friendly than paper towels because they are reusable. They also don’t leave behind any fibers that can clog up drains or cause other problems in the future.
- Electric dusters allow you to clean without ingesting harsh chemicals or creating harmful fumes. This is perfect for anyone who has breathing problems such as asthma, allergies, respiratory infections, etc., and it allows them to keep their home looking nice without disrupting their personal well-being.
- An electric duster is much more powerful than a traditional feather duster, which means it cleans quicker and with less effort involved on your part! Whether you are trying to get rid of crumbs from your sofa cushions or pet hair from your throw pillows, an electric duster can get the job done faster and with little fuss.
5 Things You Must Know While Choosing The Best Electric Duster
- Determine what you need it to do: If you have a specific need for an electric duster, then there may not be one that does everything you want from an electric duster. Most people will find that they can benefit from having more than one electric duster to accomplish different tasks. For example, if you are looking to clean the camera on your Nikon SLR digital camera, there is a specific model of electric dusters made just for this purpose and it is the only one available. However, if you want a model that can be used as a blower or a vacuum cleaner, then there are many brands and styles to choose from.
- Decide between corded and cordless: Corded models are the most popular because they are easier to keep charged and many people do not feel limited by a cord. The downside of having an electric duster that must be plugged into the wall is that you will be limited in how far away from an outlet you can use it effectively. Most people find that it is impossible to stretch a cord more than 6-8 feet, which makes it difficult to dust anything high up or anything across the room.
- Keep safety in mind: Just like any other electrical appliance, an electric duster can pose a hazard if used carelessly or without understanding the dangers involved with electricity and water. Make sure you read all of the instructions carefully before using any type of electric dusting device so that you understand exactly how it works, how to keep yourself safe while using the device, and how to avoid damaging any of your belongings.
- Consider what kind of battery technology is used: Newer electric dusters use rechargeable lithium-ion batteries that last much longer than previous models. Lithium-ion batteries also hold a charge for up to 18 months which makes them great for storing your electric duster in between uses. Keep an eye out for this feature when shopping around because it can save you money in the long run if you are planning on buying an electric duster with long-term storage options.
- Take care of your electric duster: Once you have decided on an electric duster that will meet all of your needs, take good care of it. Most electric dusters are made to withstand being dropped, banged around, and falling off the counter edge once or twice but if you continue dropping it or letting it fall, then the duster will not last as long as it should.
Why an electrical duster is better than a traditional broom?
I am here to discuss the benefits and downsides of an electrical duster as opposed to a traditional broom. I’m sure we’ve all gotten sick of our dog or cat leaving hair everywhere, on our clothes, on furniture, you name it!
There is one effective way to clean up this hair; vacuum cleaners. That’s where electric dusters come in.
Electric dusters are great for this because unlike vacuum cleaners, they do not require any kind of bag or container to store all the hair and dirt, so it is much more convenient than a vacuum cleaner. Unlike vacuum cleaners, you don’t have to worry about unplugging your electric duster when you want to use it.
Just because electric dusters are more convenient, does not mean they are better. Electric dusters can also spread around dirt if you are overzealous when using them. If the ground is already dusty, this can make it messy. All in all, an electric duster is much better for quickly cleaning up pet hair off of furniture or clothes rather than using a broom.
How often should you use your electrical dusters?
This is one of the most important questions you can ask about your e-cloth products. Using your product correctly will maximize its effectiveness and cleaning performance while using it incorrectly could damage or diminish its ability to effectively clean. The answer to this question varies depending on the cloth in question.
Electrical Duster: If the answer to the question was straightforward forward we wouldn’t be writing this article! We can tell you that using your e-cloth electrical dusters too frequently will wear down and damage the microfiber strands resulting in a loss of cleaning performance: however, e-cloth does not specify a maximum usage time or frequency. The number of times you can use your electrical dusters before wearing them down depends on your personal preference and how dirty the surface is that you’re cleaning.
If you clean very dirty surfaces (or surfaces with a thick layer of dirt) we recommend cleaning them less frequently, if possible. However, if you’re cleaning dust and dirt from hard surfaces such as blinds, countertops, etc. we recommend cleaning them more frequently.
Is Dust Bad For Your PC?
Dust is a problem that affects many people who work on computers, whether it’s their main machine or a server sitting in the corner. This might not be a problem for you if your comp doesn’t go online, but if it does then dust can be an enemy of speed and reliability. So what is dust and how does it affect your PC? Read on!
In a PC, dust collects in the various components and forms a layer between them and the air surrounding your computer. The problem is that these components need a certain amount of airflow to function, and while some components can manage with less, others cannot work at all without it. Dust acts as an insulator by preventing warm air from circulating and leaving the case.
The best electric duster for your home is the one that suits your needs. Perhaps you want to remove dust from surfaces without having to touch anything, or maybe you need it for a specific type of surface like furniture or fabric. No matter what your situation may be, there’s an excellent product for you on this list. Take some time and read through these reviews before making any purchase decisions-you won’t regret it!
